年齢制限はありますか?
All ages are welcome aboard. Children must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times.
What is your cancellation policy for inclement weather conditions?
We sail rain or shine. In the event that weather or sea conditions become too severe to operate safely, the captain may cancel the sail. In those cases, guests will be offered the option to reschedule or receive a refund.
What happens if we arrive late?
Sails depart promptly at their scheduled time. Late arrivals may miss the sail and are not guaranteed a refund.
Where is Maita'i Catamaran located?
You’ll find our beach desk and landing area between the Halekulani Hotel and the Sheraton Waikiki Hotel. There is a public access walkway between the hotels to Kawehewehe/Gray’s Beach, or you can walk through the Sheraton Waikiki Hotel, past the infinity pool and Edge bar, down to the beach.

Will we get wet?
Most sails remain dry, but occasional sea spray is possible, especially near the front of the vessel. We recommend bringing a light jacket or wearing attire that can handle a little moisture.
Do you stop for swimming, or can guests jump in the water?
No. We do not stop for swimming, and guests are not permitted to jump off the vessel. We are strictly a sailing catamaran experience.
Are guests allowed to sit or ride on the nets during the sail?
For safety reasons, guests are not permitted to sit or ride directly on the nets. However, guests are welcome to sit on the surrounding hard deck areas and rest their feet on the nets.
Are life jackets provided?
Yes, life jackets are carried onboard and are available for emergency use only, in accordance with maritime regulations. Guests are welcome to bring their own personal flotation device if they feel more comfortable wearing one during the sail.

Is there a restroom onboard?
Yes, there is a restroom available onboard for guest use.
Is the catamaran wheelchair accessible?
Our catamaran is not wheelchair accessible. Boarding is done from the beach and requires walking through sand and ankle- to knee-deep water, followed by climbing a short flight of stairs to board the vessel.
Can we bring our own food and drinks onboard?
Outside beverages are not permitted. Drinks are available for purchase onboard, and select sails offer an open bar. Food is not permitted; however, light snacks are welcome.
Is there storage onboard for personal items?
Yes. Storage is available onboard, including space in between the benches for shoes and personal items, as well as dry storage for additional belongings. We recommend bringing only essential items, as space is limited.
How many passengers can ride at once?
We are US Coast Guard certified to carry 49 passengers.
